Midnights (The Til Dawn Edition) feat. Lana Del Rey & Ice Spice

Midnights (Til Dawn Edition)

Taylor Swift has just released Midnights (The Til Dawn Edition) with two Midnights songs, Karma and Snow on the Beach. Karma features Ice Spice, while Snow on the Beach Featuring More Lana Del Rey Version. “Karma is your text by the bounce/Karma is the fire in your house/And she ’bout to pop up unannounced/And she never leavin’ you alone,” Ice Spice raps in the new verse.

Midnights (Til Dawn Edition)

Taylor Swift has released a physical version of her album “Midnights (The Til Dawn Edition)” on Friday 26 of May. The title makes it a certainty that the lyrics will be scoured for clues about why her long-term relationship with Joe Alwyn ended, even though it could still turn out to be one of the great red herrings of the year.

Swift announced on social media that this CD version will only be available at merch stands for her East Rutherford stadium shows at 12:30 p.m. ET, ensuring thousands of fans will start showing up for the shows.

There may be plans for further distribution of the CD, but Swift hasn’t yet mentioned it. The race will be on to see who can buy the CD and burn and upload it to the rest of Swift’s waiting public via a hotspot, officially illicit re-distribution or not

Snow On The Beach featuring more Lana Del Rey

The song “Snow on the Beach (More Lana Del Rey Version)” by Taylor Swift and Lana Del Rey was released simultaneously in May 2023. Fans complained that they couldn’t hear Del Rey’s voice on the original version, but it wasn’t just a matter of turning up a channel in the audio. It was revealed that Del Rey went back into the studio to cut new vocals for the track. This is an example of fan servicing or superior customer support.

The album Midnights has received a new version of “Snow On The Beach” featuring more Lana Del Rey and a verse from Ice Spice. “Karma” also gets a verse from Ice Spice, and “Hits Different” is included on the Target-exclusive version of the album.

Swift described “Karma” as being written “from a perspective of feeling really happy, proud of the way your life is, feeling like this must be a reward for doing stuff right.”

Swift’s karmic relationship has brought her less trouble in recent weeks than her alleged romantic one. Her decision to collaborate with Ice Spice raised eyebrows due to her recent public appearances with Matty Healy, who faux-apologized for participating in derogatory conversation about her face and body.

Swift and Ice Spice announced their collaboration two days prior to its release, setting the Internet into a frenzy when Swift shared a photo of the two standing on a platform in a cosmic landscape.

Ice Spice wrote that Swift is the “ONE to watch” and that she is the “sweetest person ever”. Swift then retweeted the post, adding a purple heart and hand heart emojis.
